Kids and culture

Working with kids can be quite an experience, especially when it's cross cultural.

There are times when the "kids" part makes it funny, like last week when one of the Kindergarten girls flicked me off -- because she wanted to show me the bandage on her middle finger.

At other times, it's the "cross cultural" part that's funny, and the fact that kids are involved makes it even funnier. For example, look at this picture of Johnny making a funny face.

Yes, that is indeed a funny face, but there's more to this funny picture than that. Clearly, this is one of those areas where culture differences really show.
