Oooohhhh....I get it....

I was standing on the subway platform this past weekend, and I noticed something I never really thought about before. Look at this picture:

See those grooved, yellow pathways? I never realized it before, but they're there for the visually impaired. I've been traveling the Seoul subway for about a year and a half now, and I never thought they were anything more than just a neat design thing.

Hm.
