Rainy season starts

It’s amazing to me how accurately Koreans can predict the start of the rainy season (장마). Though the weather's been sunny and tolerably warm recently, last week everyone said the summer rains would start, and sure enough, they did.

I guess a couple thousand years of living in the same place can make you an expert on that sort of thing.
