Olympic ice swimming?

Uh, question: what does Michael Phelps have to do with the Vancouver Winter Olympics?

Answer: absolutely nothing.

So why is Subway using him in commercials, with Jared saying "see you in Vancouver"?

If Americans are so uninterested in the Winter Olympics that they have to use summer olympians to advertise Vancouver, I can see why NBC expects to lose $200 million on the deal.

I don't know. Maybe he's there for some Polar Bear Club fun, like these guys in Lake Michigan.

I'd tune in to watch that....
