Operational Contract Support, Day 2

In today's class we learned about Annex W, which is the part of the Operations Order that deals with contractors. We also learned about systems to track contractors in-theater and the Defense Contractor Management Agency.
Most interesting, though, was the 2005 Frontline report called "Private Warriors," which dealt with the issue of contracted private security companies in Iraq. [Link]

A lot of the doctrine and procedures that are in place today came about because of our experiences back then.
