One of the things that frustrates me with Japanese is that it's nearly impossible to guess the reading of something you don't already know.
The name of this Buddhist temple near Camp Zama is one example. As a person's name, the first two characters would be Munenaka (むねなか). However, in the case of this temple it's actually Souchuuji (そうちゅうじ).
It's enough to make you wanna bang your head like Don Music.
