Annecy is a lake town about 45 minutes directly south of Geneva. We visited two cathedrals there.

The
Basilisque de la Visitation was built in the 1920s as the chapel for a monastic order. It had an interesting "gate"-lookin' thing above the main entry, and many stained-glass windows.

The Cathédrale de Saint Pierre is far older. Originally built as a Franciscan priory in the 1500s, it was briefly dedicated to the Goddess Reason during the French Revolution. It quickly returned to its original purpose, and was raised to the status of cathedral in 1822. Today it is national monument.

With Google Maps I was able to easily find a picture of
the same two stained-glass windows inside the Basilica -- enter the main door and look to the left. However, finding
the location of the group picture took a lot longer, because I didn't even know the name of the place until yesterday, after "walking" around all the really old buildings in the area.
