This week I find myself in Bucharest, Romania, for a conference. And not far from the hotel is the Casa Presei Libere ("House of the Free Press").
Originally built in the 1950s to house state-controlled newspaper offices and printing presses, it was renamed when Communism fell.
The wing-like sculpture was built in 2016 on the site of the former Lenin statue, which came down in 1990.
And in a massive flex, it is dedicated "in memory of the anti-communist fighters, 1945-1989."
