My parents' containers

My family is at my WI parents' house for Christmas, and I am reminded that not every container is what it seems (my mom doesn't like buying Tupperware). Sour cream, for example, is probably not sour cream. And the Sweet Corn Dip has an equal chance of being leftover soup.

Normally, this is a pain in the neck, but this prediliction to reuse containers also yields a few gems. For example, I came across a Gerber baby food jar with a bunch of nuts of various size. Look at the expiration date: 21 DEC 1986. This was one of my brother's baby food jars.

(As if I needed one) It is another reminder of what has changed since the last time we were here for Christmas.
