Fasching
Brazil has Carnival to mark the day the beginning of Lent. Germany has Fasching, and today there was a huge parade/street festival near our home downtown.
The parade had marching bands, floats, and lots of people throwing candy.
Apparently, the route doubled back on north side of town, and came back through the plaza.
