When I was in high school, I read a short story by Edgar Allen Poe called
"The Cask of Amontillado." It's about a guy who avenges a slight by entombing his rival in brick in a wine cellar.

The "Keller" to our apartment building provides an earily good illustration for what that must have been like. Every time I go down there I think of that story.
