I remember a family trip to Pennsylvania -- sometime when I was about 13 or so -- where we stopped in Johnstown and rode the Inclined Plane there. It was pretty cool -- a little nerve-wracking if you're not used to heights, but I remember it having a great view.
It turns out Wiesbaden has one of those, also. It's called the Nerobergbahn.
We took the city bus to the starting point.
At the top, there's a gazebo where you can schedule wedding ceremonies.
From the nearby grassy area, there's a great view of Wiesbaden. That church is the Marktkirche, behind which is our apartment.
The kids played around in what I thought was an ampitheater of some sort. At first glance is looks like concentric circles, but the stones are arranged in a spiral.
