Because I live overseas, NDVDBM was my best option for seeing American movies that weren't necessarily blockbusters. For example, I recently watched Spartacus and The Last Man on the Moon (a documentary about Gene Cernan).
It was also good for what I call "Mandatory Culture Night." From time to time I'd make my kids watch an old movie like Wizard of Oz or Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo. It was to my default go-to for movies that aren't available through streaming.
It's a loss, but I appreciate that I got the notification with enough time to prioritize what I want to watch in the next five months.
