Begging the question

This is an example of the "Begging the Question" fallacy. You start off with a "fact" that's unsubstantiated, then you argue against it. You conclude with "See! This fact-that-I-made-up is wrong! Isn't that terrible?!"

In this case, the assertion is that people look down on certain jobs. Is it true? Not necessarily, but the reader is supposed to accept that it is, and FB's algorithms will select the people most likely to react to it.
