Summer trip 2023 -- Return to Germany

July 6th was fairly uneventful -- the kids hung out with their cousins while I got the second part of my initial MS treatment. In the evening we watched movies, and then spent the night at my sister's.

Our flight left in the evening of the 7th. We made our way down to Chicago, turned in the rental car, and checked in.

Fortunately for us, the flight was overbooked, and United offered us $1800 in travel credits to take a later flight. I say "fortunately" because the later flight was just a few hours later. Tremendously good deal.
Our first flight took us to London's Heathrow airport. Our second took us back to Frankfurt. By that point, the kids were thoroughly tired.
