Wow, these people are really uptight. Link The six day literalist lady needs to calm down. The "it's not just a theory-ist" parents need to lighten up.
The whole creationism vs. evolution thing is nuts. I believe in both. Genesis's point is that God made us. Evolution explains the steps bit more thoroughly. I don't think they're in conflict. After all, what is a "day"? Is it 24 hours, or is the time when it's light out? Even in English it's a flexible concept. I imagine that God might have an even more flexible attitude toward it.
