Soul Foods 3

As in the U.S., seafood isn't always the cheapest thing to eat here in Korea. However, there are some really great things I've enjoyed -- live king crabs in the supermarket, shrimp so big they're almost lobsters, and really inexpensive mussels.

Usually, a kilogram bag will go for an unbeatable 2000 won ($2). What I like to do is steam them all at once, eat as many as I can with my bottle of hot sauce, and make a soup with the rest and the stock. Right up there with wopples, it's of my life's little joys.
