Remember this 1980s television show? It's about a guy who gets a supersuit from aliens and then tries to save the country from bad guys. The only problem is that he somehow loses the instruction manual and ended up flying into the side of buildings and stuff. I remember watching it when I was about 8 years old, and would absolutely crack up every time it happened.I was reminded about the show when I saw that all three seasons are now for sale on DVD at Amazon.com. Of course now, 22 years and a few Chinese classes later, I have a different perspective on it.
Notice the symbol on the suit -- δΈ
Don't you think it's curiously similar to the first character in the Chinese word for "People's Republic of China"?
Do you suppose that it's a coincidence?
How about the fact that the entire suit is red?
