In Korea, newborn baby clothes are pretty simple -- typically they wear a diaper and a benet-jeoggori (배냇저고리) for the first month or two. (P is wearing one in the post just before.) They're cute, but with all the strings I wouldn't say they're particularly convenient.
After the mother's "post-natal rest" (산후조리) is finished - when they start to go out in public - they start to wear more typical clothes with the typical colors.
