Back to the Beginning

When I started at my hagwon in May 2007, I had one class that was in the middle of a book called“The Roots of Rock and Roll.” I really liked the book -- not just for the English, but also for the American culture and history. It's good for students to see those as well.

At my hagwon, we turn in our books at the end of each term, so I never thought I'd see the book that I used back then. However, by sheer coincidence, I ended up with a class of the same exact level this term, and I just happened to get the same exact book that I used one year ago.

It’s kind of nostalgic for me to see how diligently I filled in all the answers back then. I can’t say I work quite as hard these days.
