Review: Avatar

Basically, it's like Dances with Wolves, but in 3D.

How is it the same?
  1. It's long. About three hours.
  2. The story centers around a guy who's burnt out from war and far from home.
  3. He meets a girl who has to teach him.
  4. They hook up.
  5. He has internal conflict concerning the side he'll be on.
  6. He chooses the indigenous people.
How's it different?
  1. This one's in 3D.
  2. It's in space, not the frontier.
  3. There's a big fight at the end.
So if you like cool 3D stuff, it's worth your $10. If you dislike recycled plot lines, just go with the 1990 classic.

That's not all it recycles:

Number 5 is the kicker, though.
