Update on the little boy
The other day, SY went outside to check on the laundry and P locked her out. Apparently, he's now big enough to flip the latch on the sliding door.
Luckily, he's also big enough to unlock it.
He's been putting together some short sentences, which is fun. Sometime he'll repeat things that I'll say, like 닐씨 좋아 [the weather's good]. Other times he'll say things he heard from SY (which I end up learning from him), such as 컴컴해 [it's dark], 뭐가 묻어 there's something [on my clothes/arm], or 찍어 먹어 [poke it & eat].
One original thing he's said is 엄마 다리 보여 [I can see momma's legs]. That was pretty neat.
He can be pesky at times. He'll dump out his bowl of Kix in his car seat, shove uncooked rice up his nose, deliberately antagonize us (like saying 아빠 아들 [daddy's boy] when SY cuddles him and says 엄마 아들 [momma's boy]), or cry when it's time to come inside.
Now that it's gotten warm, SY likes taking him to the nearby park, where he really likes the swings (그네, another word I learned from him). He can spend a whole hour getting pushed on the swings and still pitch a fit when it's time to leave.
Yeah, he's two years old, but there are still times when he's cute.
Too bad they're not more frequent.
