A friend of mine from Hawaii has a serious medical condition and faces the real possibility of suffering a stroke, as her sister did when she was 18.
We were hoping to help them financially, but I wanted to hold off a bit until my raise came in. So my wife prayed for some kind of windfall that we could donate.
Today her prayer arrived in the form of a check from our escrow company. Apparently, there was more money there than they needed, so they sent us the excess.
How about that.
