Lingering effects of the budget shutdown
Budget shutdowns are really silly. Not only do they disrupt the federal government's work (and who doesn't like federal spending in their district?), they mess with things like military commissaries.
The effects of a shutdown linger even after the shutdown ends, because ... well ... logistics.
We'll see if February 8th brings any further disruptions.
