A privileged place

Part of having a high rank in the Army is the designated parking spot. For example, generals get to park right in front of their building. Your place in the hierarchy determines how closely your space is to the front door.

So you can imagine how highly society honors you when you get a designated parking place right behind the pizza delivery trucks.
