My last conversation

The last time I spoke to Hunter was April 22nd.

We talked about how the COVID response differed among the U.S., Japan, and South Korea; how "Asian" food is different in Japan; and how he was washing cars to make up for the income he lost by Site 1A being closed. I also did my rant about how the word for crisis (危機) does not relate to looking for opportunities.

After that I talked about how I missed the Thai lime tree I was growing in Hawaii, and he offered to get me some from one of places that supply Lucky Ginger. I appreciated that.

The last thing I asked him was if he needed anything, and he said no. This Facebook message queue followed up our conversation from that day.
