That's why they first introduced a "run over the libs" bill (as long as you're exercising due care) back in 2017. It wasn't just a BLM thing. It was about the kind of protester you are.

If you're a protestor that they *like* or need a vote from, those in authority will take care of you. Florida Highway Patrol Colonel Gene Spaulding only urged Cuba protestors to "be respectful of our communities."

Because conservatives are only interested in rights when it's about their own.
