Potatoes are way more expensive in Japan

Potatoes are about four times more expensive in Japan as in the U.S. Instead of one dollar for every two pounds, it's roughly two dollars for one pound.
Although it's probably not *the* reason for lower rates of adult obesity here, it probably doesn't hurt.
