Right. They can't hear themselves.

Becket Adams from the Washington Examiner has criticized an MSNBC contributor who advocated prison terms for any members of Congress who broke the law on January 6th.
Frank Figliuzzi, who served formerly as the former assistant director for counterintelligence at the FBI, "endorsed imprisonment and prosecution for lawmakers suspected of encouraging the Jan. 6 Capitol riot."

In response, Becket Adams said, "Honest to God, it’s as if they can’t hear themselves." [Source]

I find it an odd line of criticism for a conservative to take.

Back in 2016, I remember that one presidential candidate said we should imprison the other presidential candidate. The Washington Examiner even reported on the "encore" last past September. [Source]

Despite the campaign slogan, the notion was nothing more than empty words. Four years later, the alleged offender has escaped any prosecution, not through any benevolence on the part of the winner, but because winning -- not justice -- was his only goal anyway. [Source]
