Top Gun 2

Before I could see Top Gun: A New Hope with my son, we had to watch the 1986 original. That's what we knocked out yesterday.

And today we watched the sequel. Gloriously ridiculous. The less you know about the military and geopolitics, the more entertaining it is. For example, Ed Harris (the actor who played the rear admiral) was born in 1950. If his character's age is the same as the actor's, he would be 10 years beyond mandatory retirement.
