East Berlin

We didn't do much today because my stomach didn't feel well after lunch. However, here are some pictures of what was, formerly, East Berlin.

This is the Nordhafen canal, which connects to the Spree -- the river in the middle of Berlin.
This is the granite monument in Invalidenpark. There's a walkway that leads up from the back.
The hotel we stayed in, the Amano Grand Central, is on Invalidenstraße, in what used to be the eastern edge of West Berlin. Here's a great map with an overlay of how the different occupation zones match up.
