There are 5,070 buried there, as well as 371 missing-in-action who are memorialized. 
As we walked around, there were a few individuals that caught out attention.
Both George Patton and Nancy J. Leo died in vehicle accidents after the fighting stopped. Leo is the only woman buried here.
Kenneth Webb was one of the Band of Brothers; in the 2001 miniseries he is played by Jordan Frieda, and is in episode 7 as a replacement. Day Turner was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions in January 1945.
