Nancy J. Leo is the only woman among the 5,070 buried and 321 MIA memorialized at Luxembourg's American Cemetery.
Like General George S. Patton, who is also buried there, she was killed in a jeep accident. For Patton, it was in December, but for Leo, it was on this day -- July 24th -- in 1945.
