Summer 2023 trip - Valley Forge

Our third stop was at Valley Forge National Historical Park, which is close (nowadays) to Philadephia. This is the place where the Continental Army spent the winter of 1777-1778. Most of the park is rolling hills and grassland, but there are also reconstructed log cabins. Our time there was mostly spent driving along the winding road and taking pictures. One of the few moment spent outside the car was to take a picture of the Memorial Arch. It was built in the early 1900s, and modeled on the classical Roman victory arches.
