It being the 4th of July, it seemed appropriate to stop at Independence Hall on our way through Philadelphia.
The next stop was in Hershey, where we stopped at the chocolate museum and got "chocolate shots."
They advise you to start with the darkest one, and then move on to the lighter ones in sequence.
We went through Pittsburgh, and saw Three Rivers Stadium. It turns out that they have a funicular railway, too. The parking areas near the base station seemed to be a good site for people to watch fireworks.
We got into the Cleveland area just in time for dinner, but -- being a national holiday -- just about everything was closed. Although I'd hoped for something a bit more nutritious, we had to content ourselves with fast food yet again, and ate at the nearby McDonald's.
