Greek traffic culture

I think of the word "Exodus" as pretty special -- something you only see in the Bible. But to Greeks, it's completely ordinary -- you can see it on the highway, above fire escapes, whatever. It means nothing more than "exit." That's very different perspective.

Another thing that I noticed about Greek driving culture is what this guy is doing.
My first thought was that this guy is either drunk or not paying attention -- that he's playing around on his cell phone or something.

But no. It's actually very considerate. This means, "I realize it's a two lane highway, but I'm in no rush, so I'm making it easier for you to pass me."
