미세먼지

미세먼지 (mi-se-mon-ji) are microparticles in the atmosphere that are blown into Korea from China. We saw a spike in the 미세먼지 count this past week.

Coincidentally, I has also sick all this past. It started last Sunday when I could feel it in my throat. By Tuesday evening, I had lost my voice. Though it was back to at least 80% by Friday, I probably won't be fully over it until tomorrow.

It's kind of confusing, too, because of the seasonal change in temperatures. So I can't tell if it was the changing weather, the 미세먼지, or if I just plain caught a cold.

Weird.
