Moving in

After 54 days in a two-room Army Lodging suite, we finally moved into our apartment.
Here's what our building looks like from Wiesbaden's main plaza. Tomorrow we get our advance shipment, and internet starts on Monday. We'll get our main shipment sometime later. Until then, we have the furniture we "inherited" from a previous tenant. Technically, the apartment is not "furnished," which is nice. Although we have a responsibility not to deliberately destroy the furniture, we're not responsible for returning it in pristine condition. That's a relief, because this stuff is definitely not new. So we get the best of both worlds -- we get decent stuff we can use for the time we're here, while also not having to worry about it. The apartment also has some balconies and windows with really great views.
From that window, you can see the Marktkirche (market church), which is the same church you can see hanging on the hotel room wall in the first picture. I think that's one of my favorite things.
